Marrit van de Guchte is a Lecturer in German Language Education at the Graduate School of Child Development and Education of the University of Amsterdam. She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences of the University of Amsterdam. Her research interests are language development through task-based language teaching (TBLT), and how to focus on form in TBLT. In addition, she works a German teacher at a secondary school (A. Roland Holst College) in Hilversum.
