I am a PhD student at the University of Amsterdam since 2012. My backgrounds includes a range of areas, including information science, human-computer interaction and information retrieval. I have an MSc degree in Information Sciences (2007), with a specialization in Multimedia and Culture, and received an MA degree for the Erasmus Mundus international Master in Digital Library Learning in 2012.

My PhD topic is related to the support of complex search in search systems, with a specific focus on supporting various cognitive stages of search. I am a member of the NWO WebART project, which is related to enhancing access to Web archives, containing our future culture heritage. For a fully updated summary of my academic work, please refer to my (external) list of publications.
