I'm a  PhD student in sociology at the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS-Paris), in a Joint-PhD with the University of Brasília. My thesis research goes on poverty, social assistance programs (CCTs) and clientelism at the Brazilian Northeast region.

I'm a member of the Équipe de Recherche sur les Inégalités Sociales from the Center Maurice Halbwachs (CNRS-ENS-EHESS), and associated-researcher of the group "Regional Development and Climate Change", part of the Brazilian Research Network on Climate Change. I have accumulated research experience on smallholder farming, rural poverty and sustainable development in the Brazilian Amazon and Semiarid regions.

For the 2014-2015 academic year I'll be collaborating with the "Transnational Configurations, Conflict and Governance" programme group, at the AISSR-UvA.
