Biography
Gabriël van Beusekom graduated in Educational Sciences (research master) at the University of Amsterdam.
In September 2013, he started his PhD project called: Same-sex attraction, gender nonconformity, and mental health during adolescence: The role of risk and protective factors.
His supervisors are prof. dr. G. J. Overbeek (University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, the Netherlands), prof. dr. T.G.M. Sandfort (Columbia University, New York, USA), and dr. H.M.W. Bos (University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, the Netherlands).
Aside from working on his PhD project, Gabriël van Beusekom also started in September 2013 as a junior teacher at the University of Amsterdam.
