Work description

Karen Kraal, MA, studied Cultural Anthropology. She currently works as Communication and Policy Officer at the AISSR (Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research) of the University of Amsterdam. 

As Communication Officer Karen implements communication and publication programmes that specifically address communication to both academic and non- academic audiences and she acts as the managing editor of AISSR and related websites in the Social Sciences. As policy officer she coordinates the PhD educational programme (in close cooperation with the Graduate School of Social Sciences) and the AISSR Ethical Advisory Board for research in the Social Sciences.
