I am a graduate student working towards a PhD under supervision of Jan Henk Kamphuis. My project revolves around the Multidimensional Personality Questionnaire (MPQ), which is a so called 'broad band' personality questionnaire that was developed in the US. Next to developing a Dutch version of the MPQ that will be comparable to the US version regarding quality, we are examining whether the MPQ (a measure of 'normal' personality) is suitable for use in clinical settings. More conceptual projects I work on concern cross-cultural differences in personality, the structural relation between normal and abnormal personality, and trait-state interactions.

the structure of personality and psychopathology, cross-cultural comparability of personality strucure, state and trait interactions, psychometrics.
