Biography

Daphne van de Bongardt studied sociology and educational sciences at the Free University and the University of Amsterdam.

In December 2010, she started her PhD research project called "Adolescent sexual development in context: Parents and peers" at the Utrecht Centre for Child and Adolescent Studies of Utrecht University, under the supervision of Prof. dr. Maja Dekovic and dr. Ellen Reitz. 

Since December 2014, she is working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Institute of Child Development and Education of the University of Amsterdam.
