My research interests include leadership, employee creativity and innovation, voice, achievement motivation, delegation, and taking credit.
Currently, my research focuses on the following topics:
- Leaders’ reactions to voiced creative input. Why is it that some leaders are receptive to, and supportive of, voiced creative input, whereas other leaders tend to shut the door?
- Delegation of tasks. Why do some leaders’s delegate tasks whereas others don’t? What kind of tasks do they delegate? Do leader characteristics and/or their motivation determine their delegating behavior?
- Taking credit. To what extent do leaders take credit for voiced ideas of subordinates? What determines whether leader’s take credit for others’ ideas?
