Title: Empirical legal research: from ‘great idea’ to ‘doing the real thing’.

Objective:

The objective of this half-day seminar is to engage in a discussion about the opportunities, challenges and pitfalls from combining legal and empirical research, to exchange experiences and best practices. Florencia Marotta-Wurgler (NYU) will start the morning with a presentation of her research and experiences with empirical research. Subsequently three speakers from the FdR will briefly share theirs. The rest of the morning is left to discussion.
