New PhD student Olga Falgueras del Álamo
As of 1 February 2013 Olga Falgueras del Álamo will start her PhD research at the CSECL.
Olga holds a bachelor degree in Translation and Interpretation and another one in Law from the University of Málaga (Spain). She has also an LLM in European Private law at UVA and has followed studies in Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France). In Spain she worked as legal translator and paralegal in different lawyers offices for several years. Her field of research is focused on harmonization of Insolvency Law at EU level.
Her PhD research will focus on the European insolvency game of reorganization of distressed companies. She will be supervised by prof. Arthur F.Salomons and advised by dr. Rolef J. de Weijs.
