Chantal Mak appointed adjunct director of ARILS
As of 1 September 2013, Chantal Mak, associate professor at the Private Law Department and senior researcher at the Centre for the Study of European Contract Law (CSECL), has been appointed adjunct director of the Law Faculty’s research institute, the Amsterdam Research Institute for Legal Studies (ARILS).
In cooperation with the chair of the scientific advisory board (Wetenschapscommissie), she will advise the dean on the Faculty’s research policy. Furthermore, together with the ARILS staff, she will work on the improvement of the managerial and administrative framework for the research conducted within the Faculty, e.g. with regard to the preparation of project proposals and the dissemination of research results.
