Vigjilenca Abazi presents at Harvard Law School
On 22 October 2014, Harvard European Law Association invited ACELG PhD Fellow Vigjilenca Abazi to discuss her PhD research on secrecy and democracy in the European Union.
During her presentation on “Challenging Secrecy: Perspectives from the EU and US Practice”, Vigjilenca emphasized the differences and similarities between the EU and US contexts. She focused on the issues that make oversight of secrecy a challenging task but also offered perspectives on what could be improved.
Vigjilenca is currently a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School, where she has further expanded her expertise on secrecy in the US constitutional practice.
