Specific language impairment in bilingual children
12May2015
10:00 - 11:00
Specific language impairment (SLI) affects around seven per cent of school-age children. It means they have greater difficulty with language processing and acquisition. Aude Laloi’s study focuses on bilingual children with SLI in their second language, in this case French. Their language abilities were compared to those of typically developing monolingual children, typically developing bilingual children and monolingual children with SLI.
