Medieval Studies Essay Prizes: application closes 1 October
The Center for Medieval Studies Amsterdam (CMSA) intends to award two prizes for Best BA scriptie and Best MA thesis in medieval studies. Prizes will comprise respectively €100 and €200 in book certificates and a chance to submit the work for publication in an academic journal.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be registered (full or part-time) as students at the UvA for the foregone academic year
- Theses/scripties with a thematic or chronological focus on the medieval period (c. 500-c. 1500) in any country or region
- Theses/scripties successfully submitted in the academic year 2012/13
- Theses/scripties receiving a minimum final grade of 8,5
How to submit?
Applicants hand in:
- three hard-copies of their paper (in any modern European language)
- a certification of timely submission from the studentenballie
- the supervisor’s evaluation
- Closing date: 1 October 2013.
