ASHMS Members Teaching at Masterclass Jordan Museum
Among various Heritage and Museum Studies scholars, ASHMS staff members Dr Mirjam Hoijtink, Dr Ihab Saloul and Dr Chiara de Cesari are invited to teach a five-day masterclass held in the Jordan Museum in Amman from 15 March to 19 March 2015.
The masterclass is organized by the Department of Antiquities of Jordan, the Jordan Museum and the Dutch National Museum of Antiquities. This masterclass deals with museums, heritage, memory and identity and will address questions on national versus local heritage, museum policy and ethics in museum presentations, restoration and authenticity of world heritage sites and many more.
