The Faculty of Science of the University of Amsterdam aims to stimulate increased diversity in its research institutes. For this reason we are continuing the recruitment programme for top level female talent, named after the ground breaking crystallographer Carolina MacGillavry, an alumnus of the University of Amsterdam.
In the second round of this programme we offer:
5 MacGillavry Fellowships
(tenure track position for talented female researchers*)
The MacGillavry Fellowship is primarily directed at ambitious women and we are therefore especially seeking women that excel in one of the faculty’s disciplines, who possess leadership potential and aspire to a career as a professor at the University of Amsterdam.
*The University of Amsterdam is an equal opportunity employer and especially encourages female applicants to apply. In case of equal qualifications the university will prefer appointment of a female candidate*.
Under Dutch jurisdiction encouraging women to apply is lawful.
