Distinguished research professors
A distinguished research professor has wide-ranging experience in both the academic and public spheres and functions within the Faculty as a special adviser to the dean in complex administrative affairs. Distinguished research professors are appointed by the dean and occupy a position in which they can carry out their work unaffiliated with any particular institute.
