Priority areas

The UvA has designated twenty research fields in which it wishes to actively foster further development.
These so-called research priority areas represent the very best the UvA has to offer in terms of research. They are also areas in which the UvA is a leader worldwide. The Faculty of Science participates in five research priorities:
