General Ledger Administration
The General Ledger Administration unit is responsible for the administrative processing of all cash, bank and giro transactions, as well as other charges such as depreciations and reserves. The unit is also responsible for passing on costs charged at the central level – such as catering, reproduction costs and incidental staff recruitment via employment agencies – to the relevant division. In addition, the General Ledger Administration manages the balance sheet and profit and loss account, and plays an important role in delivering records for the financial closing of accounts.
