Educational Events & Conferences

The Educational Events & Conferences division has more than 15 years’ experience in organising and managing (educational) events and academic conferences, both within the University and elsewhere. As part of the Communications Office, the division is familiar with the UvA’s culture and style and therefore capable of organising conferences and events in a manner that reflects the UvA’s quality standards. Each year the division is responsible for the logistics of the UvA-wide Open Days. Because the UvA’s study programmes are housed at various locations, this requires that the events programme, transport and catering are carefully coordinated.
The division can be contracted by UvA clients to organise a conference or event in part or entirely, and to arrange such matters as participant registration, handling of abstracts, financial administration, the social programme and all practical matters.
