Kathryn Greenman joined the Amsterdam Center for International Law as a PhD candidate on 2 September 2013 as part of the SHARES Research Project on shared responsibility in international law. Kathryn has an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Kent and previously worked at the Center for Justice and International Law in San José, Costa Rica.

Particularly, Kathryn's research seeks to explore, from a critical perspective, the significance of recent trends in international law and practice in respect of rebel movements. She is interested in the relationship between international law and imperialism, critical international legal history, and feminist and postcolonial approaches to international law.
