Guido de Wilde, Student Exchange Coordinator

Guido joined the University of Amsterdam in 2006 and now coordinates the university wide Global Exchange Programme. He holds an MSc in Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. Inspired by his staff exchange at San Francisco State University he teamed up with some of his international colleagues to organize sessions and workshops at EAIE and NAFSA conferences. He is the creator of the Global Exchange Ambassador Programme and is specialized in user-generated content, building engaging student communities and developing competencies of exchange students. In addition to his work for the UvA International Office, he also acts as Communication Adviser for UvA Student Services leading several projects. He organized and presented at the UvA International Staff Week, is involved with the communication strategy and corporate style of Student Services and implements social media in internationalization.
