The eye as ideal candidate for advanced treatments

23Mar2017 16:00 - 17:00

Inaugural lecture

The eye is an organ that is highly accessible for purposes of research and surgery, and relatively isolated from the rest of the body. This makes it an ideal candidate for upcoming advanced treatments such as genetic therapy and stem cell therapy, argues Camiel Boon in his inaugural lecture.

C.J.F. Boon, professor by special appointment of Clinical Opthalmogenetics: Van je familie moet je het hebben.

This event is open to the public.
