Psychoradiology in clinical practice

22Sept2017 16:00 - 17:00

Inaugural lecture

Psychoradiology applies medical imaging technologies to the analysis of mental health and neurophysiology. It already plays a modest role in increasing evidence on the long-term effects of specific medicines on the brains of children and adolescents. As Liesbeth Reneman argues in her inaugural lecture, the next step is to use it to individualise psychofarmacological treatment in the light of personalised medicine.

L. Reneman, professor of Translational Neuroradiology: De bestorming van het onmogelijke – Opmars van de psychoradiologie in Evidence Based Medicine.

This event is open to the public.
