PhD defence ceremony

Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps is a chronic disease with a significant negative impact on quality of life and high costs in terms of medical resources. To keep improving our treatment for patients of this disease we need to critically assess our current therapeutic options and gain more insight in its pathophysiology. Marjolein Cornet focuses on analysing and optimising different treatments and gaining further insight into the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.
