You will be supervised closely during the first year of your appointment.

Linguistics is a thriving field at the University of Amsterdam. Characteristic features are the broad coverage of linguistic subdisciplines and the presence of various theoretical frameworks, encouraging open and active discussion in an atmosphere of collaboration. The teaching programmes equally aim to reflect this broadness and openness.
