By downloading and using mobile apps we constantly and often unwittingly leave invisible traces that are collected, stored, used and auctioned off by third parties such as app developers, data brokers, analytics companies and marketers. Verena Wottrich investigates how consumers currently respond to data collection and usage practices of mobile apps.
