Ana Juncos, ACCESS EUROPE visiting scholar for the theme 'Europe and the World', discusses European security policy in the age of drones.

About the presenter

Between 6 and 28 September, Ana Juncos is ACCESS EUROPE visiting scholar for the theme 'Europe and the World', as a guest of Prof Wolfgang Wagner. She is lecturer in European Politics at the University of Bristol. Ana's primary research interest lies in European foreign and security policy. Her previous research project examined the EU’s intervention in Bosnia since the dissolution of the Yugoslav Federation in 1991. This research looked into the impact of institutions on the coherence and effectiveness of EU foreign policy over time and assessed the EU’s contribution to post-conflict stabilisation and conflict resolution in Bosnia. She is also interested in EU enlargement and the Europeanisation of the Western Balkans, EU security sector reform and the institutionalisation of EU foreign policy, in particular, in relation to the newly created European External Action Service.
