After graduating in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Amsterdam in 2007, Marieke de Vries has been working in the clinical setting. In 2009 she started her PhD project, focusing on children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The study focuses on Executive Functioning in ASD and more specifically, on training Executive Functions (Working Memory andCognitive Flexibility) with a specially developed computer game. The study focuses on children with an ASD diagnosis in the age of 8-12 years.
