I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the interdisciplinary research group ‘early category formation’ at the Cognitive Science Center, University of Amsterdam. Here, I am interested in how infants learn to learn; how they learn their native language for instance, or more precisely, how they learn the meaning of words. My research interests include (but are not limited to) early conceptual learning, early word learning, word segmentation, speech perception and phonological development, and their relations to longitudinal development. I currently use ERPs and eye-tracking measures to study how infants build their categories.
