Amsterdam Scandinavists explore the languages, cultures, history and literature of Scandinavia, with a special emphasis on Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The (historical) ties with other Scandinavian countries, as well as between Scandinavian countries and the Netherlands, are given prominence.
