ACIL lecture by Professor Beatrice Bonafé
On Thursday 16 November Professor Beatrice Bonafé (University of Rome) will give an ACIL lecture on ‘The judicial function and multilateral disputes’.
The determination of the existence of the dispute is a crucial aspect according to which the International Court of Justice (ICJ or the Court) decides whether it can exercise its contentious jurisdiction. ‘The Court, as a court of law, is called upon to resolve existing disputes between states. Thus, the existence of the dispute is the primary condition for the Court to exercise its judicial function’.
Professor Bonafé’s paper can be obtained by writing to email@example.com
The lecture will take place in room REC A2.10. Please register by mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
