Noah Millman
Bachelor's in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics
Tutor
Noah is originally from Vancouver, Canada where he obtained his BA (Psychology) from the University of British Columbia. In 2007, he moved to the Netherlands where he completed his first Master's (MA - Psychology of religion) and continued on to a second Master's (MSc - Social psychology) and expected PhD (psychology of religion) at the University of Leiden.
His research interests include culturally inclined or 'secular' religious group functioning with respect to life satisfaction, personal/group self-esteem. He also works with in-group favouritism and talent attribution.
He has lectured and assisted with psychology of religion bachelor's and master's courses, as well as research methods bachelor's courses. He has also been a tutorial instructor for macroeconomics and global politics courses.
As an international student and now teacher living in the Netherlands, Noah is familiar with the challenges that come with finding yourself in a new place and meeting different goals. Interdisciplinary studies allow for a broad introduction to the many issues with which the world can be understood and this programme will provide an excellent overview of the many mechanisms involved in how we are globally connected.
