'I have an MA degree in political science from the University of Amsterdam, where I am currently conducting my PhD research on the social history of labor in the Iranian oil industry.

Having worked in international settings such as the International Institute of Social History, the School of Oriental and African Studies and Columbia University, I look forward to work with excelling colleagues and students from all over the world in the PPLE programme.

I especially value the PPLE's interdisciplinary and problem centered approach, which allows us to learn from each other and to open up new perspectives.'
