For prospective students who live too far away to attend our Open Days, the UvA regularly organises online information sessions (webinars) on a range of topics.

An easy way to find out more

During UvA webinars, students can ask questions on a wide range of practical issues with regard to taking a degree programme at the University of Amsterdam.

Doing an internship in the Netherlands

Student Career Advisers Laura Beijleveld and Marie-Elise  van den Hoek Ostende will discuss what internships are like in the Netherlands and explain practical matters such as work regulations, the Dutch culture and what steps you can take when looking for an internship in the Netherlands. This session will help you understand the benefits of doing an internship.

During the webinar you can use the online chat function to ask questions.  The chat will remain open for an additional 30 minutes after the webinar for any final questions.
