Applicants with a Dutch academic degree apply here
The online application is now closed for our applicants with an international degree
You should apply via Embark. You will only be considered if you complete the online application form and provide us with all the necessary documents. You will be asked to submit the following:
- A motivation letter that shows your motivation for a research-related career.
- Your English résumé (CV), including all of your relevant personal details.
- An original essay in English (1500 words) on a topic concerned with business in society, which demonstrates your intellectual capabilities and writing skills and shows your motivation for the programme.
- A photocopy of your passport. Also send a copy of your residence permit card in case you are a non-Dutch citizen in possession of a Dutch residence permit.
- Certified copies of all of your academic diplomas in the original language (certified copies should bear the original sign and original seal of the issuing office). If you are still in the process of completing your current degree programme and do not yet have a diploma, you will need to provide it as soon as it is available.
- If applicable, a certified translation of your diplomas in English or Dutch. If a translation is not available from the issuing office, a translation bearing the original sign of the sworn translator will be accepted.
- An original or certified copy of all your full transcripts (lists of grades) in the original language. If you are still in the process of completing your current degree programme and do not yet have a final list of grades, you will need to enclose a preliminary grade list with your application. This should be an official transcript issued or verified by your registrar’s office or examination administration, no more than one month old at the time of application. If you submit a preliminary grade list, you will still need to provide the finalized version as soon as it is available.
- If applicable, a certified translation of your transcripts in English or Dutch. If a translation is not available from the issuing office, a translation bearing the original sign of the sworn translator will be accepted.
- Your original GMAT or GRE test score.
- Original TOEFL, IELTS test, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE), or Cambridge Proficiency (CPE) score if applicable.
- The name and contact details of two academics who are ready to write a letter of recommendation supporting your capability and aspirations. The admission office will contact these two persons directly to obtain the recommendation letters.
We use the online application system called Embark. Please apply first in Embark. Do not apply through Studielink before you have been accepted to the programme.
