Research Master's in Information Law (LLM)

After completing the master's programme, students interested in an academic career can pursue a PhD by writing a doctoral thesis. PhD candidates conduct research, often in combination with teaching at the university. Candidates must apply for available PhD positions.

The University of Amsterdam conducts research in important legal fields including: European private law, public international law, labour law, information law and environmental law.
