Career workshops & events
The MIF Careers Office provides various workshops and events for both full-time and part-time students throughout the year. We invite external trainers, recruiters and hiring managers to assist us in providing our students the best knowledge and training on each careers-related topic.
Workshop 2014-2015

In-House Day's 2014-2015
The In-House visits at financial institutions ( banks, pension funds, consultancy firms ) will be organised during the academic year on a monthly basis. A typical In-House day will include presentations, case studies, getting to know the organization and people who work there and the opportunity to network during the lunch.
For this academic year our schedule includes visits to institutions such as Rabobank, Booking.com, Avenade, TomTom, Huawei, Garanti Bank, PwC and many others.
Workshops
We will also invite external stakeholders to hold workshops or presentations related to the Careers in Finance at the Amsterdam Business School. For example, in September 2014 we had a representative from Bloomberg coming over and talking to the MIF students and alumni about the employment opportunities and career development at Bloomberg.
Careers Fair 2015
We also organize the annual Careers fair where our students and alumni get a chance to meet recruiters and hiring managers from different sectors in an informal setting at Amsterdam Business School. For more information click on Careers Fair 2015!
