Summary Careers Fair 2015
The MIF&MBA Careers Fair took place at Amsterdam Business School on Friday 10 April 2015. The Careers Fair is the main recruitment event of the year, and Recruiters & Hiring Managers from 24 companies came to our Business School to meet MBA and Master in International Finance students.
Our students had a chance to meet employers face-to-face, to learn about current vacancies and opportunities available, and to market themselves to prospective employers. A Career Coach and Tax Advisor were present as well, offering free consultations on careers and taxes related matters.
After the event, students had a chance to have an informal chat with the Recruiters while having some drinks and snacks. Many interesting conversations took place and some companies already pre-selected students for their job openings. We are looking forward to the next Careers fair, taking place in April 2016.
Master in International Finance
Amsterdam Business School, the University of Amsterdam, offers a strong network of brilliant students and alumni. Our strict admissions criteria for the Master in International Finance Programme, including GMAT test, allow only top-talent students to enter the programme. Our students deliver the highest quality of work and their diversity in nationalities and professional backgrounds provides a great source of candidates to every employer.
MIF students & alumni
The level of professional working experience varies between 2-15 years in different finance sector fields including private equity, M&A, banking, financial analysis, accountancy, asset management, and credit risk.
Our Master in International Finance students and alumni and are always looking for an interesting opportunity within the finance sector.
We strive to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships with the external stakeholders in order to secure job placements for our students and alumni. Business collaboration can include anything from posting job openings within our student community to organising in-house days for our students, company presentations, or attending our Annual Careers Fair.
