Tuition fee
Full-time programme starting in Sept 2015: €31,000
Part-time programme starting in Sept 2015: €35,000
The fee covers the whole programme including courses, the international study trip, use of the MBA facilities, university registration, the enrolment fee* and the examination fees. The fee does not cover textbooks, visa costs, living expenses, accommodation and the application fee**.
You can pay your tuition fees in equal instalments spread across the duration of the programme (a total of three instalments for full-time students and six instalments for part-time students***).
*Enrolment fee
If you are admitted to the programme, you will be required to pay an enrolment fee of €2,000 to secure your place in the Amsterdam MBA class. This enrolment fee is part of the tuition fee.
**Application fee
In order to cover the processing of your application for the Amsterdam MBA programme there is a non-refundable application fee of €50. This application fee is not part of the tuition fee.
***Tuition fees are tax-deductible
For applicants to the part-time programme who are working in the Netherlands, it is worth knowing that tuition fees are tax deductible. For more information, contact the Dutch tax authorities or visit www.belastingdienst.nl.
Early Bird discount
Applications received before March 1, 2015 are eligible for an Early Bird discount of €3,000.
Students should submit the following required documents before March 1, 2015:
- a copy of their passport
- a letter of motivation
- university diploma and transcript
- GMAT or GRE
- IELTS or TOEFL (unless you are exempted)
UvA alumni discount
All UvA alumni applying for the Amsterdam MBA programme at the Amsterdam Business School are eligible for a 10% discount on their tuition fee. For UvA alumni applying for the full-time programme this is a discount of €3,100, and for those applying for the part-time programme it’s €3,500.
MIF alumni discount
ABS MIF (Master in International Finance) alumni will be exempted from certain courses, as decided by the MBA programme director, and so they automatically qualify for the discounted MIF alumni tuition fee. The total tuition fee will be calculated based on the number of courses that are to be taken by the alumni, after confirmed exemptions. MIF alumni are eligible for an additional 10% discount on the newly calculated fee.
Please note that the results of passed MIF courses and examinations, which are the basis for exemptions for the MBA programme, remains valid for three years for full-time students and five years for part-time students. Full payment discount
Applicants who pay their full tuition fees as a single payment before April 30 2015 receive a 5% discount on their tuition fees.
