How to apply
To apply to Amsterdam Business School, we ask you to assemble and prepare a variety of materials that will help us assess your qualifications. All materials must be submitted via email to admissions-mba@uva.nl by the application deadline.
Written application
If you meet the admission requirements , we look forward to receiving your application. If you’re unsure as to whether or not you meet the admissions requirements, you can submit your CV for the CV Quick Scan and we’ll check your eligibility for you.
Here is a list of what you need to prepare:
- Your completed application form
- A copy or scan of your passport
- Your curriculum vitae
- A letter of motivation
- A copy or scan of your IELTS or TOEFL test results (Unless you are exempt from the English proficiency test. Please check the admission requirements for more information.)
- A copy or scan of your official GMAT or GRE test results (Unless you are exempt from the GMAT or GRE test. Please check the admission requirements for more information.)
- A copy or scan of your official transcript and diploma from a university or higher education institution. If your diploma(s) and transcript(s) are in a language other than English, Dutch or German, you will need a sworn translation into English of these documents.
- Two letters of recommendation (each of your two referees can complete a separate recommendation form and email them directly to admissions-mba@uva.nl)
- Proof of payment for the non-refundable application fee of €50
Please note that scans of the original documents will suffice for the application process. If and when you are admitted to the programme, we will either need to see the original documents, or receive a certified copy of the documents.
Interview
After your written application has been submitted and reviewed, you may be invited to interview. The interview serves as one element among many that are considered as we review your application.
Interviews may be scheduled on campus or via Skype. Interviews are 30 minutes and are conducted by an MBA Admissions Committee member who has reviewed your application.
