Working in the Netherlands
Many of our international MBA graduates would like to stay in the Netherlands after graduation. During the programme, the Careers Office provides job postings and connects you with alumni in order to increase your chances of finding your dream job.
The Careers Office is open on an ad-hoc basis to alumni looking to prepare for an interview, revise career goals or get feedback on CVs. Just another element in our life-long commitment to our graduates’ success.
If you are considering developing your career in the Netherlands, the Dutch government permits international graduates from Dutch institutions to spend 12 months after graduation to focus on their job search as highly skilled migrants. During this period you have unrestricted access to the Dutch labour market. This means you are allowed to work in the Netherlands during this period.
For more information regarding immigration policies and regulations, please visit the Nuffic site (Nuffic is an independent, non-profit organization for international cooperation in higher education. It provides institutions with information such as on the procedures and formalities that apply when international look for work in the Netherlands after graduation), or our UvA Student Services, which also provides information for international students.
