Meet the MBA Student Core Committee
Every year a number of students come together to form the Student Core Committee (SCC). The SCC meets with the Programme Management approximately three times a year to discuss issues raised by the student body. Additionally, the Student Core Committee forms a platform for open exchange of ideas with regards to the further development of the programme and the MBA curriculum.

full-time student 2014-2015
I wanted to participate in the SCC in order to be able to bridge any potential gaps between the students and the administration. I believe this is a critical facet to a well-run program that will help empower ABS towards becoming one of Europe’s top MBA programmes.

The Amsterdam MBA has a solid programme, and the quality depends on the interaction with its students, who get the opportunity to engage in conversation and debate with each other, with professors and with the network of organisations and alumni associated with the business school. In addition, students share responsibility for the success and quality level of the MBA and together build on its reputation. As a representative of the students I want to contribute to maintaining quality and improving robustness and educational feasibility. As such, I listen to fellow students and engage in dialogue with the MBA administration in the SCC.

part-time student 2013-2015
I chose to join the SCC membership because I am passionate about making the Amsterdam Business School MBA the best programme it can be, reflecting the student’s desire for a more valuable career path and maximizing the quality and reputation of the School.
I need to deal with many different interests and cultures in the SCC, which is a great way to further develop my social and leadership skills. It’s one of the greatest commitments I have made in excelling together with ABS.
