Pre-Master's programme for HBO Bachelor's students
Business Administration
During the pre-Master's programme your studies will cover the following areas: Marketing Management, Strategy and Organisation, and Human Resource Management or Financial Management. There will also be a strong focus on academics – you will learn how to apply various research methods and how you can interpret and integrate research findings. In addition to theoretical knowledge, you will also learn how to approach your profession with an academic and professional attitude: independent, confident and innovative. These three characteristics will become part of your DNA so you can put them into practice in your future business administration career. Admission requirements
The students we’re looking for are the best of the best. This means admission to the pre-Master's programme is highly selective. Please check the admission requirements before submitting your application. All applications will be assessed individually by a selection committee. In total there are 50 places available for HBO students and these are meant for the best applicants. Please note that simply meeting the minimum requirements is not a guarantee that you will be admitted.
1. If you have successfully completed a HBO Bachelor’s programme with economics, management, business studies or commerce, then there is a good chance you are eligible for the 30 EC pre-Master's programme. Check here to see if your prerequisite programme is on the list.
2. We require a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 7.5. Use this link (pdf) to calculate your GPA. We do not round up for the GPA. Should your score be under 7.5 then you can compensate for this by submitting the result of your GMAT test. You need to have scored at least 600 on the GMAT. 3. Mathematics is an extremely important component of this Master’s programme. It is important that you have the required level of mathematics knowledge. We require:
- Senior general secondary education (HAVO) level (grade 6 or higher) for Mathematics B (previously Mathematics B1 and B2), or
- Pre-university diploma (VWO) with a passing grade for Mathematics A or B
- A mathematics certificate, VWO level A or B, from one of the following institutions:
