‘There are a lot of discussions about how young people are affected by different media. What appealed to me about this Master’s is that you learn what can be said about these relevant issues from an academic standpoint. I enjoyed learning how different media appeal to different age groups and what the methodological issues are when doing research with young people.

Additionally, the research done here is excellent and it’s inspiring to learn these things from people who really know what they are talking about!’

‘The track is an interesting combination of communication science and developmental psychology. This was one of the main aspects of the track that was most appealing to me.

I think the track is filled with interesting practical assignments, great lectures and a high level of academic teaching.

The small number of students in the track makes personal and intensive tutoring possible, which made my last year at the University of Amsterdam both interesting and highly enjoyable.’
