Entrepreneurship
The Master's in Entrepreneurship falls within the domain of business and economics. Applicants should therefore be familiar with those related concepts. Furthermore, since this is a Master of Science programme, proven experience in academic writing and demonstrable knowledge of research methods are strict requirements. An admissions committee will assess the applicants’ eligibility for admissions based on the entry requirements stated below.

International applicants
The online application is now closed for our international applicants. The entry requirements specified below apply to the September 2015 Intake. These may be subject to change for the September 2016 Intake. We will update the requirements in October 2016.
1. Academic Bachelor's degree
Applicants from various academic backgrounds may be eligible for admission to the programme, as long as they can indicate a history of having completed enough relevant courses. Please note that specific entry requirements apply to Chinese students. In the online application, applicants need to upload their official course list (and, if available, their Bachelor's diploma) and course descriptions of all the required courses as stated below.
- Completed academic BSc, BA or LLB degree (or higher) from a research university.
- An academic working standard, including experience in academic writing. A writing sample in English will have to be submitted. Course requirements: at least 5 EC in academic writing courses (e.g. a Bachelor’s thesis) at the third-year Bachelor level
- Sound knowledge of research methodology, including sufficient analytical and statistical skills. Course requirements: at least 12 EC in Research skills at 3rd year Bachelor level
- Broad academic foundation in business administration. Course
requirements:
* at least 5 EC in Organisational Behaviour at second-year Bachelor level
* at least 5 EC in Organisation Design at second-year Bachelor level
* at least 5 EC in Finance at second-year Bachelor's level
* at least 5 EC in Accounting at second-year Bachelor's level
2. English language proficiency
We require evidence of English proficiency
- TOEFL IBT: minimum 92 at least 20 on each sub-score (237 computer based/580 paper based)
- IELTS: minimum 6.5, at least 6.0 on each sub-score

Cambridge International Examination: A (FCE), B (CAE), B (CPE)
Applicants with a Dutch academic Bachelor’s degree, or who have obtained their diploma or degree in a country where English is the native language are exempted from the English proficiency test. More information on test procedures and exemptions can be found here.
3. Motivation and initiative
Applicants are expected to have the intrinsic motivation to test and build upon knowledge gained in the programme. Coursework is designed in keeping with this expectation and demands personal initiative and an active contribution on the part of the student. Students are expected to describe their motivations in a letter that must be included with the online application. In addition, we would like to receive a sample of the applicant's academic writing in the online application.

An admissions committee will assess an applicants' eligibility for admission based on the entry requirements stated below. - An academic intellectual working standard, including experience in academic writing. A writing sample in English will have to be submitted. Course requirements: at least 5 EC in Academic writing (e.g. a Bachelor’s thesis) at third-year Bachelor level
- Sound knowledge of research methodology, including sufficient analytical and statistical skills. Course requirements: at least 12 EC in Research skills at third-year Bachelor level
- Broad academic knowledge base in business administration. Course
requirements:
* at least 5 EC in Organizational Behaviour at second-year Bachelor level
* at least 5 EC in Organization Design at second-year Bachelor level
* at least 5 EC in Finance at second-year Bachelor level
* at least 5 EC in Accounting at second-year Bachelor level
Eligible applicants from the VU or UvA should register in Studielink for the university where the applicant is currently enrolled.

Students from the VU and UvA
Students from the VU holding one of the following Bachelor's degrees:
- BSc in Bedrijfskunde
- BSc in Economics and Business Economics, provided that the third-year VU course ''Organization Perspectives & Dynamics'' is completed
- BSc in International Business Administration
Students from the VU with a completed pre-Master's programme Entrepreneurship
Students from the UvA holding one of the following Bachelor's degrees:
- BSc in Economics and Business/Economie en Bedrijfskunde, track Business Studies
- BSc in Economics and Business/Economie en Bedrijfskunde, track Accountancy and Control
Students from the UvA holding one of the following Bachelor's degrees, including the mentioned compulsory courses:
- BSc in Economics and Business/Economie en Bedrijfskunde, tracks Finance & Organization+Economics&Finance. Required courses: One of the following elective courses Strategic Management (second-year), Organizational Psychology (second-year) or HRM (third-year)
- BSc in Economics and Business/Economie en Bedrijfskunde, track Economics.
Course requirements:
1. one of the following courses: Management Accounting Intermediate or Intermediate Financial Accounting and
2. one of the following courses: Strategic Management (second-year) , Organizational Psychology (second-year) or HRM (third-year)-
