'I did my Bachelor's in Information Studies in Utrecht, which was great. After I had finished, I decided I needed a challenge in a new environment. An environment that focuses on international relations and - more importantly - values project-based working methods.' 'I know from experience that an academic environment doesn't necessarily stimulate people to think and work together, unless university policy makers have made a conscious choice to encourage that type of behaviour. My fascination with ICT and Sociality, a subject that's gripped me for years now, led me to opt for the University of Amsterdam.'
'In retrospect, I can definitely say Business Information Systems delivered in all respects. As part of the Master's programme, I spent some time in Italy during an exchange programme. I met a lot of great new friends as a result of the project-based approach. I've been writing about social influence on the alignment between Business and ICT on a daily basis as part of my graduation project.'
