Political Science: European Union in a Global Order (MSc)
The track European Union in a Global Order of the Master in Political Science is organised by the Graduate School of Social Sciences of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Amsterdam.
The academic staff of this programme is actively involved in research at UvA's Amsterdam Institute of Social Science Research (AISSR).
Prof. Marieke de Goede
Prof. Marieke de Goede is the Programme Director of the Master's programme in the European Union in a Global Order. She is also Professor of Politics, with a focus on 'Europe in a Global Order,' at the Department of Politics of the University of Amsterdam.
Previously, Marieke de Goede worked as Senior Lecturer at the Department of European Studies of the University of Amsterdam. She received her doctorate in International Politics from the University of Newcastle in 2001. She previously held the Vera List Fellowship at the Graduate Faculty of the New School University in New York (1997-1998) and a post-doctoral Fellowship of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) (2001-2003).
Dr Stephanie Simon
Stephanie Simon is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Politics and the Transnational Configurations, Conflict and Governance' research group of the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR) at the University of Amsterdam.
