Laura holds a Research Master's degree in Sociology (Utrecht University) and a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology (Cum Laude; Leiden University) and Business Administration (Erasmus University Rotterdam).
Laura Mulder is part of the interdisciplinary research project Dutch Adolescent Panel on Democratic Values (DAPDV; Adolescentenpanel Democratische Kernwaarden en Schoolloopbanen (ADKS)). This six-year panel research maps the endorsement and development of core liberal democratic values and political attitudes. It follows more than 2500 young people from all educational levels across their school career (age 12 - 18). The project is conducted by the Departments of Political Science, Sociology and Educational Science of the University of Amsterdam, in collaboration with ProDemos: House of Democracy and Rule of Law, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Netherlands Institute for Social Research.
