Earth Sciences

Are you passionate about the environment? The Earth is under unprecedented anthropogenic pressure, which is reflected in climate change, degradation and contamination of the natural environment, and species extinctions. The UvA’s Master’s programme in Earth Sciences lets provides you with the opportunity to work on on these and other grand challenges. You can specialise in one of our two tracks, Earth System Science or Environmental Management.

The Master’s Earth Sciences consists of two tracks: Environmental Management and Earth System Science. In both tracks, you will gain comprehensive knowledge and skill sets through coursework, lectures, fieldwork, laboratory work, and data analysis. You can read more about it on its dedicated page.
